The Location -  This comfortable waterfront unit is positioned at the Eastern end of Wanda Beach. Perfectly situated for those wanting a quiet beach side escape for their next weekend away or holiday. Striking sunrises to the East and breath taking sunsets to its West. The exclusive Rick Stein Restaurant at the Bannisters Resort is just 800m's away. Opposite Bannisters is the Soliders Point Bowling Club which offers more affordable meals. 300m away from the unit are the Wanda Shops, which offers a selection of restaurants, take away, convenience and gift stores, a day spa and hair dressers. Soldiers Point Marina is only 2.5km's away, which offers a couple of nice restaurants and cafes and opposite the Marina is a public park with a playground and tennis courts, which are available for hire all year round. There is a three lane boat ramp at the very end of Soldiers Point. The main township of Nelson Bay is just 7.5km away.

The Apartment - Listen to the waves lapping against the shore as you enjoy the ultimate holiday destination at Tuscan Waterfront in Salamander Bay. Entering the side of the unit through a lush planted pathway, you will be greeted to a tiled open plan living area offering two x 2 seater lounges, Smart TV (Netflix available with your own login), free unlimited wifi, DVD, electric heating, solid timber dining table with six chairs, and sliding glass door allows access to the balcony area with an outdoor setting and gas BBQ. Sit and relax with a glass in hand and enjoy the best water views the bay has to offer. The spacious kitchen is well equipped including a stove, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and plenty of bench space to prepare meals with a breakfast bar and four timber stools. The kitchen offers plenty of natural light with the added sky light.

The main bedroom has a queen size bed, bedside tables, dressing table with mirror and a built-in robe. The second bedroom is fitted with two single beds (can converts to a queen), a third single bed with a trundle bed, plus a port-a-cot for our younger guest. The main bathroom has a bath, separate shower and vanity. plus a separate toilet and basin. The internal laundry includes a top loading washing machine and dryer. This property also has off street parking with enough room for your trailer boat. There are definitely smoke alarms at this property.

Amazing location .

Nice house and clean. would prefer if the master bedroom had a key for more privacy. But overall had an amazing week despite the bad weather.

Lovely holiday spot

The apartment is ideally located on the beach front with great views, easy access to the beach and local shops and is well suited to a small family with plenty of room. Parking and access were great.
The apartment is very dated and needs an upgrade. The beds are old and uncomfortable (especially the main room) and are in desperate need of replacement. We had 7 of the worst nights sleep.
The bathroom and kitchen were clean however the rest of the place is in need of a deep clean. Kitchen items were dirty with some requiring cleaning before use. Overall it is well appointed but some more attention to detail, upgrade of furniture and cleanliness is required.
Would stay again provided the beds had been replaced.

Good location

The place had great views but unit is a bit dated, even though it was neat and tidy. The dishwasher didn't work properly, we had to hand wash everything. Also the coffee mugs, cups were very small. At this price point the unit should have been upgraded. However, it is private location and nice entrance.

Magical

Thank you for a pleasant stay. It was our wedding weekend and we were married at The Anchorage, Corlette, and had the most magical day. Your place is perfect, we will be back. We love this area and now even more so. Thank you for the bottle of red and the lovely fridge magnet it will go onto our fridge and remind us of this amazing weekend.

If you cancel your accommodation the following applies -

1. Bookings cancelled at least 90 days prior to “Guest” arrival date is refundable less a cancellation fee of $100.00.

2. Booking cancelled less than 90 days from “Guest” arrival date are non refundable but the following does apply –

i) if any guest has booked direct with Alloggio Holidays, and request a refund for a booking arrival date inside 90 days, we do not refund but can transfer booking dates or if guests are uncertain of dates we will provide them with an Alloggio Holiday gift voucher to the value of their “Rent” component of the booking.

ii) our fees will be retained however when the guest does utilise the gift voucher the value of rent will be towards whatever the cost of their new booking value is. There will be no booking fees charged on gift voucher bookings as we have already retained the fees.

iii) The voucher will be valid for booking stay dates within three years from date of issue and may be used on any of our Holiday Properties depending on availability.

3. If you shorten your stay, the unused portion of your rental is not refundable.

4. Any Bookings made via an OTA, for example, Stayz, , Airbnb or other booking provider will be subject to the OTA Terms and Conditions.If you cancel any booking made through Stayz, , Airbnb or other booking provider you may be required to pay further fees to those providers pursuant to their cancellation policy.

5. Any costs imposed by any other provider are in addition to any costs imposed by Alloggio Management.
