Waterviews from the balcony and a pool in the complex

The Location - The unit is situated in the well sought after building complex called 'Sundeck' which is made up of nine units, ideal for families and is located in a quiet street only 350m from Shoal Bay beach, shops and cafes/restaurants. There is an in-ground pool in the complex as well as a games room and if that is not enough, the water views are simply stunning!  With 180 degree views from Tomaree Headland and all across Shoal Bay Beach, this is the place to kick back and relax in comfort. Shoal Bay Beach is popular for paddle boarding, snorkeling and swimming whilst for surfing and body boarding there is the option of Zenith and Box Beach (please note these beaches are not patrolled) Nelson Bay is only 3.5km away.

The Unit - This second floor unit has excellent water views over Shoal Bay. The combined lounge/dining area features floorboards with the lounge area having a large five seater king lounge with chaise and the entertainment cabinet holds the DVD player and stereo with CD player and iPod/iPhone dock and sits beneath a wall-mounted 50inch HD plasma TV. There is also a second 55 inch Smart TV in the master bedroom. There is a solid wood buffet near the matching six-seater dining setting which sits adjacent to the gourmet kitchen, just in case you feel like cooking indoors. The equipped kitchen includes a dishwasher, microwave, stainless steel fridge freezer, oven/stove top and a Nespresso coffee machine (BYO pods). Large glass sliding doors off the lounge room lead onto one of the biggest balconies you will find in a two bedroom unit. The spacious balcony is big enough to accommodate the six seater outdoor dining setting, gas Weber Q BBQ with hood and outdoor lounge.

The two spacious bedroom both have a queen size bed with a queen trundle under both the beds. Both rooms have built in robes and ceiling fans with the larger of the two with amazing water views and access to the balcony. The modern bathroom has a shower with glass screen, toilet and vanity unit. The laundry has a combo front load washing machine/dryer. There are definitely smoke alarms at this property. This Property also has unlimited WiFi.

Beautiful views and good amenities

Beautiful apartment with a fantastic view of Shoal Bay. It rained a lot during the week so we spent a lot of time in the apartment and luckily it was a very pleasant place to be in.

Great view!

Excellent view and the property was as depicted in the photos. After driving for 5 hours we were given the wrong keys by Winning Holidays which we discovered with the car half unpacked and everything carried up 2 flights of stairs to the door. Rang them only to be told we had to drive back to Nelson Bay to change the keys over (which meant repacking the car!) They certainly weren't very sympathetic or apologetic. The unit was good although the bedroom ceiling fans didn't work, the bathroom door didn't stay shut and it's pretty average to book a unit for 5 people for 2 nights and only be given one garbage bag, one packet of dishwashing powder and one packet of dishwashing liquid. We also had to unpack the dishwasher from the previous guest. Great unit but I would definitely avoid using Winning Holidays again.

Great location for that weekend getaway

My stay at this property was a fantastic experience. My partner and I wanted a picturesque weekend getaway and it was exactly what we’d hoped for. A great location with fantastic views - everything was provided for and we made use of the BBQ which was perfect. The place was clean and the customer service was very prompt and easy. Would definitely recommend.

If you cancel your accommodation the following applies -

1. Bookings cancelled at least 90 days prior to “Guest” arrival date is refundable less a cancellation fee of $100.00.

2. Booking cancelled less than 90 days from “Guest” arrival date are non refundable but the following does apply –

i) if any guest has booked direct with Alloggio Holidays, and request a refund for a booking arrival date inside 90 days, we do not refund but can transfer booking dates or if guests are uncertain of dates we will provide them with an Alloggio Holiday gift voucher to the value of their “Rent” component of the booking.

ii) our fees will be retained however when the guest does utilise the gift voucher the value of rent will be towards whatever the cost of their new booking value is. There will be no booking fees charged on gift voucher bookings as we have already retained the fees.

iii) The voucher will be valid for booking stay dates within three years from date of issue and may be used on any of our Holiday Properties depending on availability.

3. If you shorten your stay, the unused portion of your rental is not refundable.

4. Any Bookings made via an OTA, for example, Stayz, , Airbnb or other booking provider will be subject to the OTA Terms and Conditions.If you cancel any booking made through Stayz, , Airbnb or other booking provider you may be required to pay further fees to those providers pursuant to their cancellation policy.

5. Any costs imposed by any other provider are in addition to any costs imposed by Alloggio Management.
