This unit is located on the waterfront of Wanda Beach and only 400m to the Wanda Village Shops where you will find a newsagent, bakery, butcher, IGA, bottle-shop, restaurants and much more. Take a scenic stroll around the headland with picnic tables along the way or in the other direction along the beach to Bannisters Resort where you have a choice of three restaurants including the famous Rick Stein Restaurant or across the road to Soldiers Point Bowling Club which offers bistro meals with children's playground. Horizons Golf course is approximately 3.2km from the duplex for guests who want to challenge themselves on the championship course or moor your vessel at the award winning Soldiers Point Marina, just 2.5km from the property. The township of Nelson Bay is approx 7.5km away.
The Apartment - Welcome to Vogue. Stylishly furnished throughout, this three bedroom apartment is air conditioned throughout. The open plan living area showcases the magnificent water views over the bay, the lounge area features a large flat screen TV and sliding doors out to a large balcony, as well as access to the balcony from the dining area. The balcony provides a gas BBQ and outdoor furnishings. The modern fully equipped kitchen comes fitted with a dishwasher, large fridge freezer, oven and cook-top.
The apartment offers three bedrooms, all carpeted. The main bedroom is fitted with a queen size bed, an ensuite with shower and access to a second balcony. The other two bedrooms offer a queen in one and a double bed in the other. The main bathroom is fitted with a shower over a bath, vanity and toilet, with the laundry offering a top loading washing machine. Other features include a double remote garage.
There are definitely smoke alarms at this property.

The view and location are excellent but we had a few issues.
On arrival we found the beds had not been made but the linen was provided in a large washing bag in the main bedroom and we had to make our own beds.
No instructions on how to access the garage which we finally worked out was a panel on the wall next to the light switch at the entrance, so for the first night we had to park our cars on the road.
The gas bottle for the BBQ was empty and as we did find the garage switch until the second day, which had a spare gas bottle, we could not BBQ as planned for our first night.
Beside the above the accommodation is in a great location with easy access to the beach

We are sorry to hear you had such a frustrating experience, but we really appreciate you bringing these issues to our attention, we will make sure access to garage is clearly marked. We always aim to deliver a great experience but clearly, we missed the mark here. We are sorry for your disappointment about the lack of bed makes, bed makes are available on request at a small charge, but we don't add this service into the tariff as we try to keep the cost as low as possible.

If you cancel your accommodation the following applies -
1. Bookings cancelled at least 90 days prior to “Guest” arrival date is refundable less a cancellation fee of $100.00.
2. Booking cancelled less than 90 days from “Guest” arrival date are non refundable but the following does apply –
i) if any guest has booked direct with Alloggio Holidays, and request a refund for a booking arrival date inside 90 days, we do not refund but can transfer booking dates or if guests are uncertain of dates we will provide them with an Alloggio Holiday gift voucher to the value of their “Rent” component of the booking.
ii) our fees will be retained however when the guest does utilise the gift voucher the value of rent will be towards whatever the cost of their new booking value is. There will be no booking fees charged on gift voucher bookings as we have already retained the fees.
iii) The voucher will be valid for booking stay dates within three years from date of issue and may be used on any of our Holiday Properties depending on availability.
3. If you shorten your stay, the unused portion of your rental is not refundable.
4. Any Bookings made via an OTA, for example, Stayz, , Airbnb or other booking provider will be subject to the OTA Terms and Conditions.If you cancel any booking made through Stayz, , Airbnb or other booking provider you may be required to pay further fees to those providers pursuant to their cancellation policy.
5. Any costs imposed by any other provider are in addition to any costs imposed by Alloggio Management.
