This property requires a $1,000 security deposit to be paid prior to arrival. This is refundable within 14 days of departure as long as there is no damage, excess cleaning, evidence of smoking, anti social behaviour proven.

The Location - Strategically located opposite the crystal clear waters of Shoal Bay Beach, you can park the car and forget it. You will be within walking distance of restaurants, cafes, game fishing club, country club hotel, shops & supermarket. Shoal Bay provides many attractions including swimming at a choice of beaches, bike and walking trails, public wharf, a boat ramp to launch the jet-ski as well as barbecue and picnic facilities along the foreshore. Other local attractions including an array of water sports, golf, sand boarding, camel rides, Murrays Brewery to name a few, are all close by so whatever type of holiday you are looking for Aura provides the ideal base for your stay. The main street of Shoal Bay offers bike hire, convenient stores and multiple cafes and restaurants.

The Apartment - This two bedroom beachfront property is located directly opposite the pristine waters of Shoal Bay. With a private roof top entertaining area and water views there is a private spa, built-in stainless steel BBQ and outdoor entertaining area where you can relax, dine and enjoy the Port Stephens lifestyle. Views of Tomaree Mountain/National Park and waters of Shoal Bay can also be viewed from the roof top and balcony. This newly updated open plan property has a fully equipped kitchen with all modern stainless steel appliances. The lounge (air conditioned) and dining area adjoins a great outdoor entertaining space.

The master bedroom has a queen size bed with walk in robe, ceiling fan, air conditioning and ensuite. The second bedroom has a set of bunks, queen size bed and built in robe. The main bathroom has a walk in shower and separate bath. Both bedrooms open out onto the balcony.

This property has an internal laundry with a washer and dryer and secure underground car spaces for two cars are available with a private lift to your apartment (pleae note that there are stairs to the rooftop terrace only)..

Location is beautiful and very central!

The property was clean if you don’t look to hard, there was a lot of dirt that I wouldn’t expect in a holiday home.
Outside hot tub and outdoor area is beautiful.
The beds and pillows are very uncomfortable, I would suggest bringing your own pillows if you’re fussed!
The lounge inside was an outside lounge and was very uncomfortable, making it very hard to relax at the end of the day in my opinion.
The property overall is very beautiful.
I would suggest some more maintenance with cleaning as well as dishes, be warned the dishwasher doesn’t work properly either!

Great Location

Overall our experience was great. The location is fabulous. The accommodation itself was ample although felt a little underwhelming. It would have been great to have a top sheet on the bed, the blanket was too small for the QB and too hot to have on during our stay.

Great Apartment

Great apartment, great location. Comfortable rooms, awesome hottub. Could do with some more amenities though, no teabags, very limited washing up supplies, only 1 garbage bag and 1 teatowel provided.

It offered so much but didn’t quite deliver

There where no instructions on address No instructions on how entry happens We made all our own beds No cleaning products at all The humming of air con unit next door does this 27/7 This was a $2000 a week accommodation This property is there on every level as far as location and what it supplies

The issues mentioned have been passed on to our appropriate team members. We are sorry for your disappointment about the lack of bed makes, bed makes are available on request at a small charge, but we don't add this service into the tariff as we try to keep the cost as low as possible. You should have received our complimentary Welcome Pack which are now available for our valued guests, to make your stay more comfortable such as soap, tea/coffee, salt/pepper, detergent, shampoo etc, our apologies if this was not the case , housekeeping will be spoken to regarding this matter.

Perfect location

Great family friendly apartment in a perfect location and outdoor bbq area is a real plus. Suggestions for improvement: Didn’t like the idea of having to place bed sheets ourselves, this is the last thing you want to do after checking in. Would also recommend the tenant provide some basic cleaning supplies so you don’t have to buy it all. Overall great place and would book again.

Great location.

My husband and I stayed here for a couple days in March and the location was amazing, right opposite the beach. Plenty of places to eat out and lots of interesting shops. The apartment was beautiful, comfortable with everything you need and the rooftop balcony with spa was the perfect place to relax at the end of the day.

If you cancel your accommodation the following applies -

1. Bookings cancelled at least 90 days prior to “Guest” arrival date is refundable less a cancellation fee of $100.00.

2. Booking cancelled less than 90 days from “Guest” arrival date are non refundable but the following does apply –

i) if any guest has booked direct with Alloggio Holidays, and request a refund for a booking arrival date inside 90 days, we do not refund but can transfer booking dates or if guests are uncertain of dates we will provide them with an Alloggio Holiday gift voucher to the value of their “Rent” component of the booking.

ii) our fees will be retained however when the guest does utilise the gift voucher the value of rent will be towards whatever the cost of their new booking value is. There will be no booking fees charged on gift voucher bookings as we have already retained the fees.

iii) The voucher will be valid for booking stay dates within three years from date of issue and may be used on any of our Holiday Properties depending on availability.

3. If you shorten your stay, the unused portion of your rental is not refundable.

4. Any Bookings made via an OTA, for example, Stayz, , Airbnb or other booking provider will be subject to the OTA Terms and Conditions.If you cancel any booking made through Stayz, , Airbnb or other booking provider you may be required to pay further fees to those providers pursuant to their cancellation policy.

5. Any costs imposed by any other provider are in addition to any costs imposed by Alloggio Management.
