Whale Studio Apartment At Fishermans Bay

The Location - If it is peace and quiet you are looking for then this is the place for you! Fishermans Bay in Tomaree National Park is a wonderful place for a holiday by the sea. Fishermans Bay has a small bay with a secluded sandy beach (less than 100m from the apartment) which is a great place for swimming, snorkelling, rockpool walks and fishing for Snapper and Kingfish. If you don't like waves, this is perfect as the waves only ever lap the shore in the shallow sandy bay. If you're visiting between May and October then it's a great spot to watch whales on their annual migration along the north coast, with dolphins sometimes also seen year round, so remember to bring your binoculars! If you're looking to go boating or kayaking for the day, you can launch your vessel from the small boat ramp here and you'll be able to find out more about the area at the information bay across from the apartment. Birubi Beach in Anna Bay is just 1.5km scenic walk away and you will be amazed by the Stockton Sand Dunes with World War II relics. Here you can relax, swim or surf at the patrolled beach, enjoy breakfast or lunch at Crest restaurant, take a 4WD tour and sand board the dunes or take a camel ride. Anna Bay shops are only 1.8km from the apartment where you will find a convenience store, bakery, butcher, Tavern,  post office and takeaway's plus much more. The township of Nelson Bay is 11km away. If you have a 4WD you can drive on Samurai naturist beach for beach fishing and surfing. From the apartment, there are numerous bushwalks along the coastline, leading to beautiful secluded beaches.

The Apartment - A brand new, well appointed, ground floor studio apartment offers a queen size bed, small dining table and two chairs, a side bench with a bar fridge, a convection microwave, De Longhi coffee machine (pods not supplied), toaster and kettle.The studio also features a flatscreen TV with Netflix, air conditioning, and an ensuite with a free standing bath, a shower with two shower heads, toilet and vanity. Free Wifi is available (but can be a little unreliable in this area).

There is a shared cafe deck, perfect for a morning breakfast or to watch the sun on the rocks in the late afternoon with a glass of wine.  

Glass sliding doors lead out to a shared wooden covered deck with outdoor furnishings, a new Weber BBQ for shared use and lovely views over the reserve and to the ocean. Guests also have use of a shared hot tub, outdoor shower and shared laundry with front loader washing machine, dryer, laundry sink and a toilet with an outdoor clothes line to the side of the apartment.

Please note there is no designated parking at the property but the street is very quiet so parking on the street is not a problem. You are welcome to use the driveway to load and unload. 

There are definitely smoke alarms at this property.
