A beautiful beach unit in Shoal Bay!

The Location - This modern apartment  is located in 'The Shoal' opening in December 2016. Situated one street back from popular Shoal Bay Beach and to many cafes, restaurants and boutique shops. Shoal Bay beach is a lovely pristine beach good for swimming and you can hire kayaks and paddle boards in the high season school holidays and at Easter. There are many cycle tracks leading to either Nelson Bay (3km's away) and to Fingal Bay (4km's away) Bike hire is available in Shoal Bay. There are also a selection of beautiful walking tracks in the Tomaree National Park and to the summit of Tomaree Mountain which offers spectacular views over Port Stephens. and the Bay.


The Apartment - The open plan living room features a TV with FOXTEL and a comfortable leather lounge, air conditioning and natural sunlight. The fully equipped kitchen includes a full working oven and stove top and a dishwasher.

The main bedroom has a queen bed, air conditioning, built in robes and a private ensuite with a walk in shower. The second bedroom has a tri bunk and air conditioning. All sheets and bath towels are supplied. There is an internal laundry with a washing machine in the unit and one undercover car space in the secure lock up garage for you. Enjoy your afternoon gatherings on the front north facing balcony towards Shoal Bay Beach. There are definitely smoke alarms at this property.

Holidaying at The Shoal

Holidayed at property with partner and elderly mother... property has lift access, was well appointed and comfortable, balconies at front and back (great to have fresh air flow through)and only a short walk to cafes, shops and beach.

good location

good unit be prepared particularly if staying 1-2 nights bring linen tea coffee hairdryer soap extra toilet paper after hours key collection leaves a lot to be desired need to download app too bad if older and don’t have phone or know how to then when away you want to enjoy what time you have in a beautiful area but expected to drive 16kms out of town by 1030 to drop key back we stayed fir breakfast had quick walk to drop off by midday and everyone doing the same was complaining of same thing

If you cancel your accommodation the following applies -

1. Bookings cancelled at least 90 days prior to “Guest” arrival date is refundable less a cancellation fee of $100.00.

2. Booking cancelled less than 90 days from “Guest” arrival date are non refundable but the following does apply –

i) if any guest has booked direct with Alloggio Holidays, and request a refund for a booking arrival date inside 90 days, we do not refund but can transfer booking dates or if guests are uncertain of dates we will provide them with an Alloggio Holiday gift voucher to the value of their “Rent” component of the booking.

ii) our fees will be retained however when the guest does utilise the gift voucher the value of rent will be towards whatever the cost of their new booking value is. There will be no booking fees charged on gift voucher bookings as we have already retained the fees.

iii) The voucher will be valid for booking stay dates within three years from date of issue and may be used on any of our Holiday Properties depending on availability.

3. If you shorten your stay, the unused portion of your rental is not refundable.

4. Any Bookings made via an OTA, for example, Stayz, , Airbnb or other booking provider will be subject to the OTA Terms and Conditions.If you cancel any booking made through Stayz, , Airbnb or other booking provider you may be required to pay further fees to those providers pursuant to their cancellation policy.

5. Any costs imposed by any other provider are in addition to any costs imposed by Alloggio Management.
