The Location - This modern apartment is located in 'The Shoal'. Situated one street back from popular Shoal Bay Beach and close to many cafes, restaurants and boutique shops. Shoal Bay beach is a good for swimming and you can hire kayaks and paddle boards in the high season of school holidays and at Easter. There are many cycle tracks leading to either Nelson Bay (3km's away) and to Fingal Bay (4km's away).There are also a selection of walking tracks in the Tomaree National Park and to the summit of Tomaree Mountain which offers spectacular views over Port Stephens and the Bay.
The Apartment - The apartment is well equipped and furnished in a nautical style. Entering the apartment your eye takes you to the end of the apartment where the glass sliding doors frame the bay water views. The open plan living area with floating floor boards includes a modern fully equipped kitchen with an island bench, a large double door fridge freezer, microwave, dishwasher and oven. Beyond the kitchen is a dining area, and then the living area is fitted with a corner lounge and large flat screen TV. The apartment offers ducted air conditioning and wifi. Leading from the lounge area is the balcony with a table and chairs for you to enjoy an alfresco meal while taking in the breathtaking views.
There are two bedrooms, one with a king bed and a trundle bed underneath and an ensuite. The other bedroom offers two single beds. The main bathroom offers a modern shower, vanity and toilet and the internal laundry provides a washing machine and dryer.
There is secure parking for one car and lift access up to the apartment. There are definitely smoke alarms at this property.
Please note: Linen and bed makes are provided at this property but guest will need to bring sheets and towels for the trundle and sofa bed or you may hire linen from us.
Please note that there are security cameras installed in the common areas of The Shoal. There are no cameras in individual apartments.

Great views
Stayed for 11 nights. Apartment was new with new appliances with fantastic water views . Second bedroom was dark cause there is no windows and blinds are not blockout. Could not enjoy out in the balcony as it was full of ants with wings. Overall a great stay.

Fabulous Apartment with great view and location
Recently my family and I stayed at the apartment for the weekend. The apartment was very clean and modern with great views of Shoal Bay. The location is fabulous and in walking distance to cafe's, restaurants, Mt Tomaree and Shoal Bay Country Club. Would highly recommend the property and look forward to returning with my family.

FEBRUARY 2021
The property is centrally located and was presented in usual order. A previous tenant had used kitchen pots and returned them to the cupboard unwashed. It took 45 minutes to scrub them. There was an electrical problem with the hot plate switch which has been reported. Other than that this is a fabulous place to stay and highly recommended. 50 metres walk to town centre and hire businesses. Great proximity to Fisherman's Co-op and Country Club.

Shoal bay Holiday
Winnings a very busy agent
The keys collected on time not allowed to collect anytime before 2 pm
The key number on the tag was different to the apartment number 504 We were unable to open when tried few times and rang the office and they wanted us to come back to the office
The manager told us that's the correct key and gave some instructions and we managed to open after 30 minutes delay Otherwise all good

Awesome View and Super Clean
Really appreciated the cleanliness and the beautiful view of the place, as well as its style.
There was a lot of noise every early morning which was a bit inconvenient.
Would've liked to find basic kitchen, laundry, and bathroom essentials.
Please try to put an outdoor umbrella at the balcony because we could never sit there when the sun is out. If it also had a bbq, that would've been amazing.
