The Location - The second story apartment is situated right on Wanda beach delivering beautiful sunrises each morning. The Soldiers Point area is definitely a location for those who are looking for a quiet, relaxing holiday. Located at the most western tip of the Tomaree Peninsula, Soldiers Point is almost entirely surrounded by the port, making it a popular location for fishing and boating. Soldiers Point Marina (2.4km away) offers state-of-the-art mooring facilities and two fine dining restaurants plus cafes. Opposite the Marina is a public park with a playground and tennis courts, which are available for hire all year round. The exclusive Rick Stein Restaurant at the Bannisters Resort is just 50ms away, making it a breezy five minute walk. Opposite Bannisters is the Soldiers Point Bowling Club which offers plenty of affordable meals, and so is The Cheeky Dog, a fabulous pub with great food (pizzas, burgers, etc). Little Salamander shops is only 1km away featuring many delicious Chinese and Thai restaurants, and for more selection visit the Salamander Shopping Centre which is just 4.8km away. Nelson Bay itself is a short 9kms from the apartment, with Soldiers Point being central to everything you need for a fantastic getaway.
The Apartment - This three bedroom, second floor apartment is located at the front of the complex and is right on the waters of Soldiers Point. There's no side adjoining walls and no apartments above, making this apartment as secluded and private as you can. With a welcoming sea breeze, it's the perfect for 6 adults, elderly people or children.
This property features a fully equipped kitchen with a microwave, dishwasher, stovetop, and newly purchased oven & refrigerator. The open plan living area encompasses a dining room and living room which features a flat-screen TV; however, you won't be wanting to watch anything else but the panoramic views outside the large sliding doors. These doors lead onto the balcony, where you can really experience what it's like to live next door to the ocean. The balcony features new outdoor furniture to wine, dine with a new Weber BBQ and relax outside.
Bedroom one has a king bed, and ensuite with a large walk-in shower. This bedroom is spectacular; the water views of Soldiers Point and beyond can be seen through your window. Bedrooms two and three both have queen beds. One of the queen rooms features a balcony to continually enjoy the ongoing ocean views.
The main bathroom offers a walk-in shower with a newly installed screen, steps up to the bathtub and a vanity. An internal laundry with washing machine/dryer is available. The garage is for owner use only, however, there is parking available on the reserve in front of complex.
This would be a lovely apartment for a family to enjoy a holiday anytime of the year.
There are definitely smoke alarms at this property.
