The Location - Shoal Bay Beach Apartments with communal plunge pool are just 200 metres from the Western end of popular Shoal Bay Beach and only one kilometre to Shoal Bay's cafes, restaurants and boutique shops or two kilometres to Nelson Bay.
The Apartment - Apartment 6 is on the ground floor. Offering an open plan and air conditioned living area with a queen size sofa bed, flatscreen TV and DVD player, dining area and a full kitchen with cooktop, oven, microwave, dishwasher and Pod coffee machine. The main bedroom has a queen bed, TV, ceiling fan and access to the covered balcony with Webber BBQ and outdoor setting. There is also a courtyard area. There is one bathroom with a shower, plus an internal laundry with a washer and dryer. Allocated single car space onsite.
There are definitely smoke alarms at this property.
Linen for 2 persons with main queen bed made is included. If using sofa bed, sheets and towels are not included. Hire from Agent.
Please note - the sofa bed had been replaced with a queen sized sofa bed and screen doors have been added (June 2018)

Shoal Bay Apartment
Our stay was enjoyable with easy access to the beach at the end of the street and a short walk into Shoal Bay shops. The linin on the bed seemed too small for the bed and also the hot water in the shower continued to cut out which made in very hard to conserve water as requested as you had to wait until the hot water came back on to finish your shower, unless you like ice cold showers. Other than that I could not fault the property.

Great weekend getaway
The property was lovely!
Its located close to everything, & walking distance to the beach.
The apartment was big enough for 2 of us and had everything we needed! The only downsides were the traffic in the morning as its on a busy road, but once you shut the doors you can hardly hear it so that's only a minor flaw and the pool was unavailable but totally understand with having to be Covid Safe! We enjoyed our stay! :)

Quick getaway
Our stay at Shoal Bay beach apartments was fantastic. Location was perfect. Apartment was absolutely amazing. Clean, well equipped. We loved that we had a courtyard, if only the weather was nicer so we could use it more. Would absolutely request to stay in this apartment again when next in Shoal Bay and will definitely recommend to my family and friends.

Excellent Shoal Bay Holiday Accommodation
Clean and well maintained, very quiet inside the unit so you don’t hear the passing traffic along Shoal Bay Road, good access from
carpark, blockout blinds in the bedroom and main living area, easy access to the beach, short flat walk to shops. Perfect for a recent stay with our 7 month old baby. Would recommend for a couple, small family or up to 4 adults.

Nice location but over all not worth $465 2 nights
No toilet paper, no hand soap and no dishwashing liquid to wash any dishes. One towel to share between two. Not worth $465 for 2 nights

Good Location, Quiet and Clean
The apartment was clean, modern and bright, the appliances were adequate and all functioned well. The property could do with fans in the bedroom and living room, as this would assist in keeping cool, without having to use the aircon so much. The bedroom gets quiet hot without the aircon running overnight.
Upon arrival we noticed that the bedroom seemed a bit damp, but this could have been due to the fresh linen on the bed, perhaps not being entirely dry, by the next morning the dampness has disappeared.
We didn’t use the washing machine or dryer, but when looking for the iron we noticed that the laundry had quiet a bad smell to it, as if someone had left a wet towel in the washer for a few days, it really needs to be aired out/or draino in the sink.
There was also sand in the wardrobe from the beach umbrella from previous use.
Overall it is a nice and clean place to stay, with a modern/beach decor. The building is quiet and in a good proximity to Nelson, Fingal and Salamander bays.

Apartment served the main purpose
The apartment looks somewhat larger on the pictures. It can handle four, however, anyone staying with four persons for more than one night might be better off bringing an inflatable mattress to prevent back pain. While basic kitchen ware and cutlery are present, they are not really intended for cooking. A sharp knife that one can chop veggies with would make a welcome addition. There are no fly screens so keeping sliding doors open overnight - for those that don't mind doing so on the ground floor - comes with an invitation to mozzies.
Else, Nelson's Bay is beautiful and the apartment ideally located to Mount Tomaree, Little Beach and the Native Flora Gardens on foot.

Cancellation Policy
If you cancel your accommodation the following applies -
1. Bookings cancelled at least 90 days prior to “Guest” arrival date is refundable less a cancellation fee of $100.00.
2. Booking cancelled less than 90 days from “Guest” arrival date are non refundable but the following does apply –
i) if any guest has booked direct with Alloggio Holidays, and request a refund for a booking arrival date inside 90 days, we do not refund but can transfer booking dates or if guests are uncertain of dates we will provide them with an Alloggio Holiday gift voucher to the value of their “Rent” component of the booking.
ii) our fees will be retained however when the guest does utilise the gift voucher the value of rent will be towards whatever the cost of their new booking value is. There will be no booking fees charged on gift voucher bookings as we have already retained the fees.
iii) The voucher will be valid for booking stay dates within three years from date of issue and may be used on any of our Holiday Properties depending on availability.
3. If you shorten your stay, the unused portion of your rental is not refundable.
4. Any Bookings made via an OTA, for example, Stayz, , Airbnb or other booking provider will be subject to the OTA Terms and Conditions.If you cancel any booking made through Stayz, , Airbnb or other booking provider you may be required to pay further fees to those providers pursuant to their cancellation policy.
5. Any costs imposed by any other provider are in addition to any costs imposed by Alloggio Management.
