The Location - Scirocco is just 200 metres from the centre of Nelson Bay for boutique shops, cafes and restaurants, and 400 metres to the marina and Nelson Bay Beach. Park the car and walk to everything! 

The Apartment - This ground floor apartment has a tiled deck with outdoor setting and a BBQ, leading in to open plan living with ducted air conditioning, a flat screen TV, DVD player and CD player, a modern kitchen with cook top, oven, microwave and dishwasher. Three bedrooms (two queen beds, two king single beds), main bathroom, ensuite plus extra powder room, and an internal laundry with a washer and dryer. You also have two secure car spaces and lift access to the apartment.

Short break

The apartment in general was spacious & well furnished. Beds were comfy & clean. We used our own linen & towels.
Good range of cutlery & crockery provided but cutlery draws need a cleanout.
BBQ: We decided not to use Bbq as it's dirty,rusty & old. We used the electric frypan instead.
Key collection: Recommend that visitors be provided with details about what keys to us, how to get into carpark, parking spot etc. We spent 30 mins figuring it out, then had to wait for someone to come from the agents office to get into the building & apartment. After all that the keyless entry into building didn't work so had to go back to agents office to get new set of keys...very frustrating for a 3 night stay.
Cleanliness: Recommend toilet seats to be changed & carpet/couches to be steam cleaned. I The apartment had a fishy smell when we walke
d in. It was a complete put-off.

a 3 night stay

Location is good. Spacious and clean.
Lots of lights do not work. Texts or icons for knobs of oven and dish washer are worn. You can only use them by guess. Did not use the BBQ, as it looks like an antique.

Family Escape 2020

The unit is great for a family with the private outside large area. It is in walking distance to all shops Marina and had plenty of cooking utensils,plates etc,he fridge is large and the stove and Dishwasher came in handy for our family. The only Negative was the Old BBQ,It needs to be replaced as the Hot plate and Grill are Rusty.

It doesn't state in our property description that we offer Wi-Fi, so if you are looking for this feature, it's best to have a look at the facilities we offer before reserving the unit. Cancellation Policy

If you cancel your accommodation the following applies -

1. Bookings cancelled at least 90 days prior to “Guest” arrival date is refundable less a cancellation fee of $100.00.

2. Booking cancelled less than 90 days from “Guest” arrival date are non refundable but the following does apply –

i) if any guest has booked direct with Alloggio Holidays, and request a refund for a booking arrival date inside 90 days, we do not refund but can transfer booking dates or if guests are uncertain of dates we will provide them with an Alloggio Holiday gift voucher to the value of their “Rent” component of the booking.

ii) our fees will be retained however when the guest does utilise the gift voucher the value of rent will be towards whatever the cost of their new booking value is. There will be no booking fees charged on gift voucher bookings as we have already retained the fees.

iii) The voucher will be valid for booking stay dates within three years from date of issue and may be used on any of our Holiday Properties depending on availability.

3. If you shorten your stay, the unused portion of your rental is not refundable.

4. Any Bookings made via an OTA, for example, Stayz, , Airbnb or other booking provider will be subject to the OTA Terms and Conditions.If you cancel any booking made through Stayz, , Airbnb or other booking provider you may be required to pay further fees to those providers pursuant to their cancellation policy.

5. Any costs imposed by any other provider are in addition to any costs imposed by Alloggio Management.
