The Location - 151 Sandy Point Road is right across from a calm water beach and a grassy picnic/BBQ area (don't miss the sunsets). It is also just 1.5 kilometres to the Salamander Shopping Centre and five minutes drive into Nelson Bay.
The House - This property is on the first floor with water views from the front balcony, plus a side balcony and rear balcony with a gas BBQ. There is ducted air conditioning throughout, free wi-fi, a living area with a flat screen TV, DVD player and CD player, a separate dining room and a kitchen with a cook top, oven, microwave, dishwasher and a coffee machine (Nespresso, BYO pods). Three bedrooms (queen bed, two single beds and a set of bunks), ensuite and main bathroom with a shower and a bath, and an internal laundry with a washer and dryer. Off street parking is available for two cars or a car and a boat.
Note: Guests have use of the top floor only (ground floor and garage are not for guest use).
There are definitely smoke alarms at this property.

Perfect place for a holiday
The bay windows with the fully enclosed balcony was perfect to take my mother who's wish was to watch the water at any time of the day. As she has throat skin cancer, her skin cancers could be healed by the sun without being out in the sun and her confinement could be released by just walking across the road up and down the beach. The flat walks to and from the beach and shops, were perfect as she feeds through a stomach tube. It was perfect

Great views
The property was located well for our needs as we were attending a wedding at the anchorage in Corlette. while the rooms were large and well equipped for our stay it was clear the property had not been inhabited for some months as the dust was very thick. the floors and bathrooms and kitchen were clean. I would question the cleanliness of the doona covers and pillow cases and the lounge needs a spray with fabric cleaner as it was decidedly musky smelling. a good spring clean would bring the whole property up to scratch. a cockroach bomb would be useful as well as they have well and truly invaded the house

This review is surprising but appreciated. A Spring Clean was carried out mid August and the property was checked after this. The owner and another guest have since been in the property and no issues with cleanliness were reported. We will ensure that the property is checked again, a cockroach spray will be organised and the lounge will be cleaned. If there are ever any issues found on arrival or during your stay please contact our office immediately so that we can rectify the situation and enable you to enjoy your stay.

Cancellation Policy
If you cancel your accommodation the following applies -
1. Bookings cancelled at least 90 days prior to “Guest” arrival date is refundable less a cancellation fee of $100.00.
2. Booking cancelled less than 90 days from “Guest” arrival date are non refundable but the following does apply –
i) if any guest has booked direct with Alloggio Holidays, and request a refund for a booking arrival date inside 90 days, we do not refund but can transfer booking dates or if guests are uncertain of dates we will provide them with an Alloggio Holiday gift voucher to the value of their “Rent” component of the booking.
ii) our fees will be retained however when the guest does utilise the gift voucher the value of rent will be towards whatever the cost of their new booking value is. There will be no booking fees charged on gift voucher bookings as we have already retained the fees.
iii) The voucher will be valid for booking stay dates within three years from date of issue and may be used on any of our Holiday Properties depending on availability.
3. If you shorten your stay, the unused portion of your rental is not refundable.
4. Any Bookings made via an OTA, for example, Stayz, , Airbnb or other booking provider will be subject to the OTA Terms and Conditions.If you cancel any booking made through Stayz, , Airbnb or other booking provider you may be required to pay further fees to those providers pursuant to their cancellation policy.
5. Any costs imposed by any other provider are in addition to any costs imposed by Alloggio Management.
