The Location - Macadamia Court is just 200 metres from the main street of Nelson Bay for boutique shopping, cafes and restaurants and just 300 metres to the marina and Nelson Bay Beach. If you don't feel like walking to the beach, there is also a pool in the complex.
The Townhouse - This property is an affordable option in a great location. Spread over three levels, there is an air conditioned living area with flatscreen TV and DVD player, dining area and kitchen with microwave, oven, cooktop and dishwasher. Two bedrooms with ceiling fans (queen bed, two single beds), a bathroom with a shower (no bath) and an internal laundry with a washer, dryer and an extra toilet. Plus undercover carport parking for two cars.
There are definitely smoke detectors at this property.

CONVENIENT
We had no issues with this rental. We would recommend anyone to stay here. Easy check in and easy check out. Close to all amenities. Private carpark. There is also an aircon (which on the website said there wasn't) The only minor thing was that I couldn't locate was the iron. This has a lot of space. Also sheets are in the cupboard if you couldn't find. The pool is right at your doorstep which we unfortunately didn't use.

Pros - good location, neighbors are quiet and nice pool for the kids.
Cons - The pictures on the website don't match the room when we arrived. The place was not cleaned properly - oily kitchen, cobwebs in all the rooms, black stains on the carpet in the living area, and very dusty. There is no air-conditioning in the bedrooms and in the middle of January it was very hot. We could not leave the windows open as the screens were broken and torn. Apart from a good clean and some minor repairs, the place needs to be fumigated as there were many cockroaches during our stay - we had to unload a full can of bug spray just so we could bear our stay.

This place would be more comfortable if there was air conditioning in the bedrooms, it is extremely hot in the upstairs. Pest control would be good as there were so many cockroaches everywhere. A few light globes were not working. Also needs a Bbq. Position was great. Pool was good.

Great location
We stayed here in Dec 2018.
Living room was great,however,bedrooms could use bit of improving.
Beds only had mattress protectors with no sheet at all. Wardrobes were dusty .
The pool was amazing. Nice and clean.. great for kids.
Neighbours were lovely..

Enjoyable holiday
Very happy with the place. Pretty clean all though could do with some spider Web cleaning especially in areas as on top of the doors and windows. Great neighbours Close to the marina, shops, beaches. Down fall of the place.... too hot upstairs it needs an air con upstairs as well. We had trouble sleeping far too hot

Good to see that you enjoyed Macadamia Court. There are ceiling fans in both upstairs bedroooms, which are most definitely both working.

Cancellation Policy
If you cancel your accommodation the following applies -
1. Bookings cancelled at least 90 days prior to “Guest” arrival date is refundable less a cancellation fee of $100.00.
2. Booking cancelled less than 90 days from “Guest” arrival date are non refundable but the following does apply –
i) if any guest has booked direct with Alloggio Holidays, and request a refund for a booking arrival date inside 90 days, we do not refund but can transfer booking dates or if guests are uncertain of dates we will provide them with an Alloggio Holiday gift voucher to the value of their “Rent” component of the booking.
ii) our fees will be retained however when the guest does utilise the gift voucher the value of rent will be towards whatever the cost of their new booking value is. There will be no booking fees charged on gift voucher bookings as we have already retained the fees.
iii) The voucher will be valid for booking stay dates within three years from date of issue and may be used on any of our Holiday Properties depending on availability.
3. If you shorten your stay, the unused portion of your rental is not refundable.
4. Any Bookings made via an OTA, for example, Stayz, , Airbnb or other booking provider will be subject to the OTA Terms and Conditions.If you cancel any booking made through Stayz, , Airbnb or other booking provider you may be required to pay further fees to those providers pursuant to their cancellation policy.
5. Any costs imposed by any other provider are in addition to any costs imposed by Alloggio Management.
