The Location - Horizons Golf Club is a par 72, 18 hole golf course designed be Graham March and Ross Watson. In addition to the course there is also a pro shop, clubhouse and cafe. All this and just over two kilometres from the Salamander Shopping Centre and Tavern and just ten minutes drive to Nelson Bay for boutique shopping, restaurants and the marina.
The Villa - Perfect for a golfing getaway or Port Stephens holiday, Villa 124 overlooks the golf course and is set up for both singles and couples. Air conditioned living with a flat screen TV, Foxtel with entertainment and sports package, and a DVD player with surround sound, a kitchen with microwave, hotplate and an oven, or a gas BBQ on the patio for outdoor dining. Two bedrooms (queen, one king single, plus two king single beds in bedroom two that can be joined), main bedroom with flat screen TV, and two ensuites with spa baths and showers. You also have access to an external share laundry with washer and dryer and one off street car space.
Relax on the patio after a game of golf, watch the sunset, have a BBQ... you may even see some of our local kangaroos.

Good location
Brought DVD for kids to watch, but The DVD player doesn't work. Other than that, got most of the things what we basically need for holiday stay.

Good quality villa
Villa 124 was spacious, well maintained, tastefully decorated and we enjoyed staying there. Some of our friends had also booked villas at horizons and there's were not as good. The resort is great for kids, with 2 pools, a tennis court and space to ride bikes.

Beautiful resort
It is very clean and beautiful with kangaroos around in the early morning and evening. I love the view of the grass and river. And it is only 10 minutes drive to Woolworths and Coles, Aldi, Dominos. But the gas bottle was empty when I checked in so I had to swap it myself. Though I got the refund for the gas paid.

Security Rip Off $20 no Receipt
The Villa was Excellent! BUT the Property Management from "Accom Nelson Bay Pty Limited trading as Port Stephens Accommodation" Should be ashamed of themselves! $20.00 Call out Fee when the Key is Picked up before 2pm even when the door was open AND No Receipt was offered and it was like 1:45pm grrrr NOt Happy at all! Sad part is that the Accommodation was great but I'll never book through them again!

The $20 fee is only charged 'outside office hours.' During these times we contract a security guard to provide a check in service, allowing guests to check in at any time (not restricted to our office hours, could be 10pm at night!). Unfortunately we were closed on the public holiday (5 October) and the eight check ins on this day were advised of this on booking and again once payment was made (ie. advised via two emails). It was a coincidence that the security guard (who is not one of our staff members) was in our office checking in other guests at this time, so the door was not locked, this would have saved a phone call and a wait. It is absolutely not a fee for keys to be picked up prior to 2pm, we allow early check ins wherever possible and there is no charge for this during our office hours. A receipt book is in the guards tray and a receipt has since been emailed to this guest (we have been told that a receipt was not requested). Receipts will now by given to all guests using this service. We have provided this service for over 10 years (as have most agents in the area) and it has been appreciated by guests who have been unable to arrive during office hours.

Cancellation Policy
If you cancel your accommodation the following applies -
1. Bookings cancelled at least 90 days prior to “Guest” arrival date is refundable less a cancellation fee of $100.00.
2. Booking cancelled less than 90 days from “Guest” arrival date are non refundable but the following does apply –
i) if any guest has booked direct with Alloggio Holidays, and request a refund for a booking arrival date inside 90 days, we do not refund but can transfer booking dates or if guests are uncertain of dates we will provide them with an Alloggio Holiday gift voucher to the value of their “Rent” component of the booking.
ii) our fees will be retained however when the guest does utilise the gift voucher the value of rent will be towards whatever the cost of their new booking value is. There will be no booking fees charged on gift voucher bookings as we have already retained the fees.
iii) The voucher will be valid for booking stay dates within three years from date of issue and may be used on any of our Holiday Properties depending on availability.
3. If you shorten your stay, the unused portion of your rental is not refundable.
4. Any Bookings made via an OTA, for example, Stayz, , Airbnb or other booking provider will be subject to the OTA Terms and Conditions.If you cancel any booking made through Stayz, , Airbnb or other booking provider you may be required to pay further fees to those providers pursuant to their cancellation policy.
5. Any costs imposed by any other provider are in addition to any costs imposed by Alloggio Management.
