The Location - Gretel Lodge is in the popular holiday area of Little Beach, approximately 300 metres from the Western end of Shoal Bay Beach and 500 metres along the path to Little Beach for calm water swimming, BBQ's and picnics. You will also be approximately 1.5 kilometres from Shoal Bay or 2.5 kilometres from Nelson Bay for boutique shopping, cafes and restaurants.
The Unit - This neat and cosy unit is an affordable option for a Port Stephens short break or holiday. There is an air conditioned lounge and dining area with a TV and DVD player, a kitchen with microwave, oven, cooktop and a full fridge. Two bedrooms (queen bed and a tri bunk) and one bathroom with shower and toilet, as well as an internal laundry. Secure undercover parking for one car.
There are definitely smoke detectors at this property.

Funny smell house
Parking was outside on the street and the main doors were opened all day till 7pm. Once I entered the apartment I felt a funny smell. We stayed there for 2 nights. The quilts weren't looking like washed and smelled too. The kitchen was pretty old with electric stove. The cupboards so called wardrobes were loose and fragile. Need to be careful while handling. Overall not so good. Best part is you can reach the beach within 8 minutes.

Very clean like shown in the picture wouldn’t stay there again the hot water system is disgusting one you have a shower hot water will end there no one could shower after you bed we’re so dirty yuck house smells wait and the best part New Years night no sleep at all from the music that’s so loud next door

Cancellation Policy
If you cancel your accommodation the following applies -
1. Bookings cancelled at least 90 days prior to “Guest” arrival date is refundable less a cancellation fee of $100.00.
2. Booking cancelled less than 90 days from “Guest” arrival date are non refundable but the following does apply –
i) if any guest has booked direct with Alloggio Holidays, and request a refund for a booking arrival date inside 90 days, we do not refund but can transfer booking dates or if guests are uncertain of dates we will provide them with an Alloggio Holiday gift voucher to the value of their “Rent” component of the booking.
ii) our fees will be retained however when the guest does utilise the gift voucher the value of rent will be towards whatever the cost of their new booking value is. There will be no booking fees charged on gift voucher bookings as we have already retained the fees.
iii) The voucher will be valid for booking stay dates within three years from date of issue and may be used on any of our Holiday Properties depending on availability.
3. If you shorten your stay, the unused portion of your rental is not refundable.
4. Any Bookings made via an OTA, for example, Stayz, , Airbnb or other booking provider will be subject to the OTA Terms and Conditions.If you cancel any booking made through Stayz, , Airbnb or other booking provider you may be required to pay further fees to those providers pursuant to their cancellation policy.
5. Any costs imposed by any other provider are in addition to any costs imposed by Alloggio Management.
