The Location - 102 Government Road is ideally located just 300 metres from family friendly Dutchies Beach for calm water swimming, picnics,BBQ's and a playground. It is also just over one kilometre from Nelson Bay's boutique shops, cafes, restaurants and the marina.
The House - This renovated fisherman's cottage may look dated from the outside, but has been renovated and is comfortable with everything needed on the inside. Perfect for a couple or a small family. There is open plan living/bedroom with polished floorboards, a queen bed and two single beds, a flat screen TV, a DVD player, a CD player, air conditioning and a ceiling fan. Separate kitchen with a stove, microwave and a fridge, and a bathroom/laundry (shower, toilet, washing machine and dryer). The outdoor area is fully fenced, with mature gardens, plenty of space for kids to play, a gas BBQ, outdoor setting and umbrella on the deck, and hammocks to relax in. Secure parking in a single lock up garage, plus off street parking for another car or a boat.
Perfect for those on a budget that would like to get away, with a great location and a large yard.

what a disappointment
the property was outrageously priced for what was offered. Had to make our own beds, no soap or shampoo, fridge with no freezer etc. Probably the worst place I have stayed at in decades.

Bit noisy with the trucks roaring by, the house literally shakes. Otherwise it's nice. No pets inside.

Handy
The property was very compact, states it can accommodate 5 cant see how. When we booked the property, we inquired if the yard was mowed as we have a small blind dog they ensured us that it was. We it wasnt so our dog had trouble as everything hit her in the face. We found glass under the table, used tissues under the mat and the list goes on, not enough room the list the rest. We will NEVER stay there again.. The ladies in the Office were great, so thank you, as all the problems werent your fault. Id advise anyone thinking about this property to think again.

Great little cottage
We stayed 4 days and found it very functional. Very close to the main dog beach as well as centre of town well shaded backyard for the kids to play in. Only issue we had was road noise other than that great place.

Cancellation Policy
If you cancel your accommodation the following applies -
1. Bookings cancelled at least 90 days prior to “Guest” arrival date is refundable less a cancellation fee of $100.00.
2. Booking cancelled less than 90 days from “Guest” arrival date are non refundable but the following does apply –
i) if any guest has booked direct with Alloggio Holidays, and request a refund for a booking arrival date inside 90 days, we do not refund but can transfer booking dates or if guests are uncertain of dates we will provide them with an Alloggio Holiday gift voucher to the value of their “Rent” component of the booking.
ii) our fees will be retained however when the guest does utilise the gift voucher the value of rent will be towards whatever the cost of their new booking value is. There will be no booking fees charged on gift voucher bookings as we have already retained the fees.
iii) The voucher will be valid for booking stay dates within three years from date of issue and may be used on any of our Holiday Properties depending on availability.
3. If you shorten your stay, the unused portion of your rental is not refundable.
4. Any Bookings made via an OTA, for example, Stayz, , Airbnb or other booking provider will be subject to the OTA Terms and Conditions.If you cancel any booking made through Stayz, , Airbnb or other booking provider you may be required to pay further fees to those providers pursuant to their cancellation policy.
5. Any costs imposed by any other provider are in addition to any costs imposed by Alloggio Management.
