5 Minute Walk To Fingal Bay Beach!

The Location -This unit is located in the lovely Fingal Bay. If you want to get away from the crowds and unwind in a peaceful area then this is the place for you. Fingal Bay offers a magnificent surf beach only 350m from unit (which is patrolled), Kiddies Corner beach, ideal for small children to swim and a boat ramp to launch your vessel. The pristine white sandy beach leads up past the surf lifesaving club up to the famous Fingal Spit. The spit can be crossed at low tide (with caution, check times with surf club) to view the ruins of the outer lighthouse residence. At the southern end of the beach you will find Barry Park lookout where you can watch Humpback Whales migrate north from Mid May to August and south from August to mid November with their newborn calves. Restaurants, the Surf Club cafe, take away shops, a garage service station and great pathways for walking and bike riding are all at your fingertips. There is a great off leash dog exercising area at the foreshore reserve. Shoal Bay is just 3.5km away and Nelson Bay is a short 6.5km drive.

The Unit - This quaint ground floor unit has been renovated and styled with a pop of colour. The cosy open plan living area is accompanied by a leather suite, flat screen TV and DVD player. The dining area is adjacent and offers a wooden table and chairs. The modern fully equipped kitchen with window servery provides all the appliances needed for your stay including a dishwasher, wall mounted oven, stove top, fridge/freezer, microwave and plenty of cupboard and bench space. The property has two perfect areas for alfresco entertaining, the large front deck opens out from the tiled living area and offers a BBQ and outdoor setting. The private undercover courtyard at the back of the unit is adjacent to the kitchen and offers a second BBQ,lounge setting, grassed area and is fully fenced.

The main queen size bedroom has a ceiling fan and the second bedroom has a tri-bunk (double on the bottom and single on the top). There are two bathrooms in the property. One has a toilet, vanity and shower and the other is fully renovated with a combined shower & bath with a second toilet and vanity. There is an internal laundry providing both a washer and dryer, with a clothes line in the back yard.

There are many other features to this holiday unit,the definite highlight being that it is pet friendly so feel free to bring your family dog along! The front of the property has been tastefully landscaped with off-street parking and room for your boat on the grass. It is even equipped with a bonus outdoor shower to rinse off the sand after the walk home from the beach!

Great location in a comfortable home

Comfortable accommodation at proximity of convenience store and a couple of restaurants. 5min walk to the beach. We had a great time and would stay again! The only negative experience we had was with the oven: no matter what temperature or settings we used, it just couldn’t cook our food properly.

Modern, fully equipped, much better than photos!

Great ground floor flat with fully enclosed secluded back courtyard for the dog. Well modernised and heaps of equipment - for cooking, BBQ , laundry. Short flat walk to spectacular Fingal Bay beach, coastal walk/bike path and small shops. Ideal for couple with/without 1 or 2 teen / young adult kids and dog who like beach walking , national park walking , a bit of surf. Dog gets exercise along the coastal path , a zoned off off-leash area nearby and has secure yard for when you are on beach/in national park where dogs not allowed.

Cancellation Policy

If you cancel your accommodation the following applies -

1. Bookings cancelled at least 90 days prior to “Guest” arrival date is refundable less a cancellation fee of $100.00.

2. Booking cancelled less than 90 days from “Guest” arrival date are non refundable but the following does apply –

i) if any guest has booked direct with Alloggio Holidays, and request a refund for a booking arrival date inside 90 days, we do not refund but can transfer booking dates or if guests are uncertain of dates we will provide them with an Alloggio Holiday gift voucher to the value of their “Rent” component of the booking.

ii) our fees will be retained however when the guest does utilise the gift voucher the value of rent will be towards whatever the cost of their new booking value is. There will be no booking fees charged on gift voucher bookings as we have already retained the fees.

iii) The voucher will be valid for booking stay dates within three years from date of issue and may be used on any of our Holiday Properties depending on availability.

3. If you shorten your stay, the unused portion of your rental is not refundable.

4. Any Bookings made via an OTA, for example, Stayz, , Airbnb or other booking provider will be subject to the OTA Terms and Conditions.If you cancel any booking made through Stayz, , Airbnb or other booking provider you may be required to pay further fees to those providers pursuant to their cancellation policy.

5. Any costs imposed by any other provider are in addition to any costs imposed by Alloggio Management.
