With its clear, turquoise waters and white sands, Shoal Bay Beach is truly an ideal family holiday destination, offering great swimming and a chance to unwind, and for the more adventurous, there are kayaks, stand up paddle boards (open everyday during the high seasons of school holidays, long weekends and Easter) and bicycles for hire. Bring your walking shoes and hike the secluded trails through Tomaree National Park, or climb to the summit of Mount Tomaree for spectacular views of the surrounding pristine coastline. There are a selection of surf beaches nearby to try out, or alternatively, a 5-minute drive (3km) will take you to Nelson Bay CBD and Marina where you can shop, eat, or head out on a dolphin watch cruise.
This air-conditioned, 1st floor unit is located in the middle of all the action of Shoal Bay in the Bay Village, with retail shops and cafes on the ground floor. The open plan living area is tiled and offers a lounge, flat screen TV, and fully equipped kitchen with full size fridge, microwave, oven, glass cooktop and dishwasher. Step out onto the covered balcony and dine alfresco with stunning water views and that fresh sea breeze drifting by.
The main bedroom has a king bed, ceiling fan, wardrobe and a digital TV, while the 2nd bedroom has a bunk bed, single bed, and a wardrobe. The bathroom has a shower and toilet, and there is a single undercover parking space. The property offers free WIFI.

Good location yet disappointing
Great location, a very basic apartment that needs some more love, very noisy of a morning, didn’t get the sleep in we wanted on weekend away. No wifi or Netflix didn’t work

It is the best accommodation to visit in this place. I have been from last 16 years in same accommodation place. They were providing full furniture in the house, I will recommending to all my friends to this place.

My stay
Booking and check in was extremely easy. The unit location was perfect.
Everything we needed and convenience. Could do with spending a small amount of money for new crockery etc. Matching sets is a small touch that doesn’t cost much.
The blinds in the bedrooms cut out little to no light and with the arcade lights, the main bedroom in particular was very light. Black pit blinds would make such a difference.
