The Location - Alta Mira is a modern apartment complex with views across Soldiers Point and Sunset Beach. A leisurely 300 metre walk along Sunset Beach to Soldiers Point Marina and some of the areas best restaurants and cafes. Just five minutes drive from Salamander and 15 minutes to Nelson Bay, but far enough away for true relaxation.
The Apartment - This well appointed apartment is located on the top floor (lift access). Modern and spacious with ducted air conditioning, open plan living with flat screen TV and DVD player, gourmet kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, oven and cook top and separate dining area. Three bedrooms (queen bed, double bed, single bed and trundle bed), main bathroom with spa bath, ensuite, plus an internal laundry with washer and dryer.
Views over Soldiers Point Marina and to the heads from the living area, main bedroom and large balcony (with gas BBQ too).
1 car space on the top level car park (visitor) and lift access to the apartment. There are definitely smoke detectors at this property.

Great views, spacious and clean
Comfortable,roomy and clean, great view and breezes, only issue, keys miles away, no good for sailing up, really management needs a key safe in Soldiers Point.

Thank you so much for leaving a 5 star review, we are so pleased you enjoyed the unit and views. We appreciate your annoyance with the key hub location if you were sailing up to your accommodation. We set up the secure key hub in its location so guests staying in different parts of Port Stephens could easily access their key without having to find parking and come to office in Nelson Bay. This system also provides guests access to key hub after hours without any extra fees. We apologise for the inconvenience.

Disappointing
I’d booked the property for the main reason we had some guests staying that required Air conditioning and I was prepared to pay a premium. Upon check-in we realised it was not working and despite attempts to get it rectified, we were notified that it could not be serviced until after our checkout date.
What was even more disappointing is that the Air con had apparently not been working for the previous guests.
To be offered a minimal $50 compensation by the owner is laughable considering it cost $400 per night.

We appreciate that we cannot get it right all the time but would hope that when we make a mistake, we really try to rectify it as soon as possible. Unfortunately we were unable to have the air conditioning fixed during your stay, due to high demands at this busy time of year. Our sincere apologies for the inconvenience this caused.

excellent views in a quiet area
I took this accomodation for myself, my 2 adult children and my grandkids. Never stayed in the port stephens area before and glad I chose alta mira. If you like to relax in a quiet area then this is for you. Very spacious apartment with excellent views over the bay. Close enough to all amenities but far enough not to be in the hustle and bustle. Would definitely stay again.

Cancellation Policy
If you cancel your accommodation the following applies -
1. Bookings cancelled at least 90 days prior to “Guest” arrival date is refundable less a cancellation fee of $100.00.
2. Booking cancelled less than 90 days from “Guest” arrival date are non refundable but the following does apply –
i) if any guest has booked direct with Alloggio Holidays, and request a refund for a booking arrival date inside 90 days, we do not refund but can transfer booking dates or if guests are uncertain of dates we will provide them with an Alloggio Holiday gift voucher to the value of their “Rent” component of the booking.
ii) our fees will be retained however when the guest does utilise the gift voucher the value of rent will be towards whatever the cost of their new booking value is. There will be no booking fees charged on gift voucher bookings as we have already retained the fees.
iii) The voucher will be valid for booking stay dates within three years from date of issue and may be used on any of our Holiday Properties depending on availability.
3. If you shorten your stay, the unused portion of your rental is not refundable.
4. Any Bookings made via an OTA, for example, Stayz, , Airbnb or other booking provider will be subject to the OTA Terms and Conditions.If you cancel any booking made through Stayz, , Airbnb or other booking provider you may be required to pay further fees to those providers pursuant to their cancellation policy.
5. Any costs imposed by any other provider are in addition to any costs imposed by Alloggio Management.
