PORT STEPHENS AUSTRALIA | DIVING & UNDERWATER TOURS

Many divers come to Port Stephens attracted by some of the best shore dives in Australia. The water is warm and the marine life is abundant with fish species, sharks, stingrays and other sea life. Discover an underwater world with sea caves, sponge gardens and shipwrecks. Explore the marine sanctuaries off Nelson Bay to see rare species only found in Port Stephens such as the passion flower feather star, pineapplefish, Saw-tooth Moray Eel and the white seahorse.

DIVING ADVENTURES FOR EVERYONE

Lets Go Adventures-Dive Nelson Bay offers snorkelling courses every day during the school holidays. An experienced instructor will teach you techniques such as how to clear your mask and snorkel of water, how to use your fins properly and how to duck dive. The courses at Fly Point are held at high tide to take advantage of the best conditions, which means that the diving time will vary daily.

Experienced scuba divers are offered a full range of specialty and advanced courses, including deep diving and nitrox. There are dive charters available in Nelson Bay for experienced divers or lessons for keen enthusiasts. For those who want to learn to scuba dive, be sure to sign up for the Discover Scuba course - all you will need to participate in this program is to be able to swim and complete a medical statement.
